Our educational Apple Orchard Field trips are great for schools, daycares, play groups, and more!

A minimum of 20 participants is required for a reservation.

Apple Orchard Field Trips are available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in September & October. There are 2 arrival time slots available:
10:00 am
11:30 am

The price is $10/person

Orchard Field Trip includes:

1/4 peck bag for each participant to fill with fresh picked apples from a local orchard
Learning about our Orchard and the growing process, and much more at stations within the Orchard run by
You are welcome to stay and picnic, we have lots of picnic tables!
If you reserve a trip September 2 through 11, you are welcome to travel to Butler's Orchard's Farm Park after your time at Doc Waters to enjoy their Farm Park (approximately 2 miles away). Trips scheduled on these dates ONLY are able to visit Butler's Orchard's Farm Park. There is no play area at Doc Waters Cidery.

Policies and Information:

For rain or inclement weather: Generally, the Orchard will be open rain or shine, but if there is any doubt about the weather, we will reschedule your visit! If we cannot reschedule your trip, we will provide a refund.
No-shows or trips cancelled (for reasons other than weather) less than 24 hours in advance will not receive a refund.
Busses should approach The Orchard via Route 27 directly to Davis Mill Road and Watkins Rd. Avoid Brink Road due to dangerous curves. PLEASE share this information with your bus drivers.
Service animals are welcome! Comfort or emotional support animals and other non-service animals (i.e. pets) are not allowed at the Orchard.
If you have more or fewer people in attendance than your original booking, you will be charged or refunded on the day of your trip based on the final number of people in attendance. If your group number will be changing drastically, please call or send us an email.
